"Alala", or Hawaiian crow, is a large triptych, 70"x124", which was first exhibited in Hawaii at the art gallery in the Kahilu Art Center on Hawaii, HI in 2022-3. It was revised in 2023 and 2024. The medium is various papers, inks, and gel medium on mylar.
"Sorrowflow," 70"x40" was completed in early 2025. It came out of the OPUS series using paper and ink. This piece was created with the sorrow I felt after the elections and the also the genocide in Gaza taking place. In June, 2025, this painting and also "Intermezzo" from the OPUS series will be part of an international exhibit at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum.
"Solace Seekers" was a construction of wire, screen, paper, and paint. In 2023 it was exhibited in the "Seeking Solace" exhibit in Hawaii. It was also in the Gear Box, Oakland exhibit in 2024. This construction represents the instability of refugees and those who do not have homes.
